Established
in 1991, the award recognizes staff and faculty for excellence
in personal achievements and outstanding contributions
to The University of British Columbia. The Award consists
of a Gold Medal and $5,000 for each recipient. Up to
5 awards may be given in one year. Awards are made to
individuals
and therefore, only individuals should be nominated.
All staff and faculty of the University are eligible
for the
Awards, with the following exceptions: Current Deans,
Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents or equivalent.
Award
presentations occur during the Spring and Fall Congregation
ceremonies. The following HKIN graduates have received this
