equipment and technical services
Equipment may be booked at either OSBO or MGYM.  Staff support may be arranged if classrooms are located elsewhere on campus.  Please see Facility Coordinators/Assistants for special requirements.

camcorders
DV and VHS Recorders are available – reservations are made when no prior reservation exists.  Bookings are on a shared basis with each class receiving an equal number of cameras.  Cameras must stay within the facility and are released for ‘overnight use’ only under special circumstances.  Students wishing to use cameras outside of class time must ask their instructor to forward a class list to the Equipment Dispensary to secure a camera.

video assignments
The Health & Fitness Lab (Gym G) at OSBO provides viewing facilities for videotapes and for doing basic tape editing. 
Students may access lab by:

• using equipment during normally scheduled class time
• coming to Gym G “Open Lab” times (20 hours weekdays/nights - schedule posted on door)

video tapes
Available through OSBO Equipment Dispensary.  Instructors wishing to purchase and re-sell tapes may have course accounts billed.  Please speak to Facility Manager for course charges.

student access to pre-recorded video tapes
Tapes are available for viewing in Gym G Lab only.  Tapes are not to be removed from the Lab.  Instructors will be notified of overdue tapes.

booking procedure
Media equipment bookings may be made by phone, e-mail, or in person. As soon as requirements are known, please contact the Coordinator/Assistant or fill out a booking form [available in MGYM 224].  For equipment required on a regular basis, please provide one booking form listing dates.

Available on loan from either OSBO or MGYM.  The following lists categories/types of equipment available. A more comprehensive inventory is available from technical staff at either location.
