Equipment and Facilities
- The lab is equipped with two Visualeyez VZ3000 Tracking Systems for 3D motion analysis (Phoenix Technologies).
- A stability platform (Model 16030, Lafayette Instrument) allows measurement of task-related balance skill as a function of instructions and practice. (add picture)
- We have three digital video cameras that are supported by ProSuite Dartfish software for video feedback, basic editing and motion analysis.
- Measurement of visual gaze is afforded by two head mounted eye movement systems manufactured by ASL (affording sampling rates of between 60 and 360 Hz). These can be used in stationary and mobile environments.
- The lab is also equipped with a 3m × 3m projector screen and projector for feedback and demonstration purposes.
- Equipment and resources and facilities are shared with the Motor Control and Learning Laboratory (Dr Franks) including testing rooms, coordination apparatus & visual occlusion goggles.
