Frequently asked questions:
|
|
| |
My
child has never done gymnastics before. Do you have any
classes for beginners?
With our movement education approach to teaching gymnastics we are easily
able to accommodate beginners of all ages into our programs.
How many children are
in each class? And how many classes are in the gym
at a time?
Our instructor to participant ratio is 1:6 for our Preschool and Kinder
programs and a 1:8 ratio for classes with school aged children. We allow
a maximum of 3 to 4 classes in the gym at a time depending on the ages
of the participants.
What happens if my
child misses a class / day of camp?
Children can make up for missed classes by attending Family Drop In at no charge.
Where are you located?
Where can I park?
We are located in the Robert F. Osborne Centre at UBC, between the Winter
Sports Centre (Ice Arena) and the Tennis Centre. Pay parking can be found all around Osborne Centre at the hourly rate of $1.25, and daily rate of $4.25.
What kind of snacks can my child bring if they have a break during their
class?
Children should bring fruits, crackers, juices etc for their break. Children
are not allowed to bring any kind of peanut product into the gym due
to children with severe peanut allergies.
What to wear?
Comfortable clothing such as a T-shirt and shorts or sweat pants. We
recommend bare feet to aid in the learning process, however socks are
allowed as well. No shoes are allowed in the gymnastics gym. We also
ask that children not wear jewelry (of any type) when
taking classes.
Refund Policy
All
refunds are subject to a $25 administrative fee; there will be no refunds two weeks prior to class start date unless for medical reasons with doctor verification.
